Enhanced voice services

To better manage your calls, Warid provides you with basic GSM services which are immediately available for use as soon as you start using your Warid connection.The enhanced voice services are:

  • Caller Line Identification
  • Call Forwarding
  • Call Waiting & Call Holding
  • Call Barring
  • Conference Call

 

Caller Line Identification

Caller Line Identification, also known as Caller ID or CLI, displays the caller's number on your mobile phone enabling you to know who is calling before you answer the call. If it is someone whose number is stored in your personal phone book, their name will be displayed. CLIs are displayed for any mobile or landline number.

Benefits:

According to your preference or urgency, you can decide instantly which calls you want to hold and which ones you don't. Anonymous calls can be avoided as you can see the caller's number onscreen. Even if you miss a call, you can call that person back because you can see the number afterwards.

Call Forwarding

"On vacation can't receive my calls, but able to have a friend receive them!" In case you are busy, in a meeting or out of coverage, don't worry. Simply forward/divert your calls to another number and you need never miss a call again.

Call Waiting & Call Holding

This service allows you to put an active call on hold while you answer a second incoming call, and is available to all Warid subscribers. Accessing the service is dependent on your type of mobile phone, so please consult your mobile phone's user manual before trying to set this up.

Call Barring

You can restrict or bar all types of calls to and from your mobile phone, i.e., outgoing national calls and outgoing international calls. Barring is activated with a personal code available on your mobile phone.

Conference Call

Warid Telecom's conference call feature allows the caller to dial up to 5 separate people and invite them to join in on the same conversation.This feature is particularly useful when urgent decisions involving more than two parties need to be made and one or more members are not available or physically in the same place. The price of a conference call is the same cost of a normal call to each member participating in the conference.
