WARID Telecom Uganda commercially launched its prepaid services in Uganda on February 7^th 2008 with a series of nationwide simultaneous activations. We are the first network provider ever in Uganda to switch on and have a sizeable network coverage at time of launch.

Within only three weeks of commercial launch we hit our first landmark subscriber number of 100,000 network users and launched a number of innovative and exciting products and offers including:
